Nan was a student in my Biochemistry Lecture course in spring 2013. She earned an A in the class, finishing 10th of 90 students. She was moderately active in the Discussion Board forum for the course and in sending emails to me asking content-related questions, and all her questions were very politely and patiently worded. I would not characterize her as hugely articulate in her written work, but she always was able to get her point across without difficulty.
