·       David Arditi: Professor of CAEE and Director, Construction Engineering & Management Program. Research in construction management, engineering and support. At IIT since 1981; former department chair, has taught outside US.

·       Konstantinos Arfanakis: Asst.Prof. in Medical Imaging division of BME; at IIT since 2005. Research in development and applications of MRI and image reconstruction.

·       Matt Bauer: Humanities Asst.Prof. with specialization in linguistics, teaching in graduate programs in technical communications. Publications mark him as a rising researcher in applied linguistics; represents graduate programs in Humanities.

·       John Bilson: Professor of Finance, Academic Director, Dept. of Undergraduate Business. First appointed at IIT in 1995; innovative teacher, very interested in student affairs.

·       Kevin Cassel: Assoc.Prof. and Assoc.Chair for Graduate Studies, MMAE. Research in computational fluid dynamics; has played a key role in improving graduate program within MMAE. Served on Faculty Council for several years.

·       Donald Chmielewski: Assoc.Prof. and Assoc.Chair for Graduate Affirs, ChBE Dept. Participating in graduate program review for Applied Mathematics, IPRO Studies Faculty Committee, search committee for joint ChBE/NCFST faculty position. BS (1991) from IIT; on faculty since 2000. Research in process control, fuel cell system design.

·       Hyun-Soon Chong: Asst.Prof.,Chemistry; at IIT since 2003. Research in cancer therapeutics, biologically active compounds, natural products, synthetic and mechanistic organic chemistry.

·       Michael Davis: Professor in Humanities and holds an appointment in CSEP. National reputation in applied ethics, a much repeated component of the IIT mission.

·       Jennifer Derwent: Assoc.Prof.,Neural Engineering division of BME. Research in retinal vascular research, photoreceptor degeneration, growth factors. Teaches joint graduate classes with U.of Chicago; served on review committee for Graduate Dean.

·       Ali Emadi: Prof.,ECE, Director of Power Center and Grainger Labs, two foci of Energy & Sustainability Institute. Brings commitment and achievement simultaneously in research, graduate education, undergraduate education, and Ipro programs.

·       Alexander Flueck: Associate Professsor of Electrical Engineering and Associate Dean for Research in the Graduate College. Supervised Graduate College research support services; promoted the growth of sponsored research and programs, encouraged development of research centers, facilitated multidisciplinary research, mentored new faculty, chaired Research Council, reviewed research centers, represented IIT to funding agencies and industry. Research in computational tools for power engineering.

·       Frank Flury: Asst.Prof. of Architecture, extensive experience in design/build project leadership at IIT and in industry; Ipro experience, collaborator with engineering faculty.

·       Joel Goldhar: Professor, Stuart School. At IIT since 1982; Dean of Stuart School from 1982-88; innovative teacher.

·       Thomas Irving: Prof. of Biology; secondary appt. in BME. Director of BioCAT and IIT's Synchrotron Center; manages large grant projects. Research in X-ray scattering, fiber diffraction, muscle physiology. Extensive involvement with BME faculty, including high-level searches.

·       Nasrin Khalili: Associate Professor, Environmental Management within Stuart School. Productive researcher, very interested in student affairs.

·       David Pistrui: Coleman Chair of Entrepreneurship, Industry Assoc. Prof. in Stuart School. Very well connected with industry.

·       Jafar Saniie: Prof.,ECE; at IIT since 1983. Led Computer Engineering program during period of exceptional growth; serves as ECE graduate program director: there are 616 graduate students enrolled in study in ECE. Provides deep perspective.

·       Warren Schmaus: Professor of Humanities, specializing in history and philosophy of science. His books have brought him a significant national reputation; he holds office in national associations. Has run successful faculty searches within Humanities.

·       Kenneth Schug: Professor of Chemistry; at IIT since 1956. Has the time and interest to serve on either committee. Would bring extensive experience to the search.

·       Candace Wark: Prof.,MMAE, and Assoc.Dean, Armour College. Research in wall-bounded turbulence, fluid dynamics. Has organized teaching improvement workshops and is working with the Dean to improve IIT's rankings by accurately reporting IIT's research data. Ph.D. from IIT.

·       Geoffrey Williamson: Prof.,ECE; at IIT since 1989. Research in signal processing, control, biomedical applications. Co-chaired Faculty Handbook revision (2004); serves on University Faculty Council.
